1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Krushi Nidan web application ("Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Platform Services

Krushi Nidan provides digital agricultural support tools to farmers and agrarian professionals, including:

• AI-Powered Crop Disease Diagnostics: Deep convolutional neural networks (MobileNetV2) trained on 64 leaf condition classes to recognize plant diseases and display treatment & prevention guidance.
• Live Gujarat APMC Mandi Market Rates: Aggregation and benchmarking of agricultural commodity auction rates across major Agricultural Produce Market Committees (Rajkot, Gondal, Unjha, Mahuva, etc.).
• Farm Weather & Spray Advisories: Micro-meteorological insights and condition-based recommendations for pesticide spraying, fertilization, and irrigation.

3. Eligibility & Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental/guardian consent to create an account.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information (name, email, valid 10-15 digit phone number) during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity conducted through your authenticated session is your responsibility.
• Notify us immediately at our contact address if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. User Code of Conduct & Prohibited Activities

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rule 3(1)(b) of the Intermediary Rules, 2021, you agree NOT to:

• Upload non-agricultural, offensive, malicious, obscene, defamatory, or unlawful media files.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, probe, scan, or compromise our servers, APIs, or database systems.
• Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to overwhelm or extract data without authorization.
• Reverse engineer or decompile any portion of our neural network weights, algorithms, or API endpoints.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The software, user interface design, logo, machine learning models, database architecture, and proprietary algorithms of Krushi Nidan are the intellectual property of the Krushi Nidan Development Team and are protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Agricultural Nature of Service: Krushi Nidan is an informational decision-support assistant. Agriculture is subject to biological, environmental, soil, and climatic variability. Krushi Nidan, its creators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any crop yield losses, plant mortality, financial damages, or adverse outcomes resulting from reliance upon AI diagnoses or market predictions.

Always cross-verify pesticide dosages and application guidelines with local agricultural authorities (Krishi Vigyan Kendra, ICAR officers) and official chemical container labels.

7. Termination & Account Deletion

You may terminate your account at any time through the Profile tab in the Dashboard, which triggers permanent erasure of your personal data under the DPDP Act 2023. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive platform behavior.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
